Privacy and data

Images and drafts

Image conversion and editing happen in your browser. Drafts are stored in the current browser; clearing storage may remove them. Export JSON backups to keep your work.

Public sharing

Publishing a pattern sends the pattern and its description to the server. Preview images, titles, author usernames, and basic information are public. Full pattern data, detailed colors, editing, and downloads require sign-in.

Accounts and sessions

The server stores salted password hashes and session token hashes, not plain-text passwords. An HttpOnly cookie keeps you signed in for up to 7 days.

Visitor statistics

A random browser identifier is used to count page views, visitors, tab sessions, referring domains, and feature use. Application analytics do not store raw IP addresses, original images, passwords, or canvas content. Hosting and database providers may keep infrastructure logs under their own policies.

Clear browser storage to reset the visitor identifier, or sign out to revoke the current session. Self-service password recovery and account deletion are not currently available. Do not put sensitive information in public pattern descriptions.
